We Back the Hands That Feed

At Farmhand Foundation, we back the hands that feed.

Rooted in Ojai, California and serving our surrounding counties, we walk the fields and listen closely, building trust with farmers and food stewards.

We’re steady partners. Like true farmhands, we take on the behind-the-scenes work others often avoid—reading the fine print, writing grants, restoring soil health, chasing certifications, telling stories, and opening new markets—so farmers can stay focused on farming.

By honoring Indigenous wisdom and farmer resilience, we strengthen local food systems, so every meal begins in a thriving ecosystem that nurtures communities - for the next seven generations.

Support Our Work

We take this opportunity to recognize that we listen, farm, and learn on the unceded and ancestral homelands of the Chumash people. We seek peace and clarity from these lands and waters and pay our respect to the elders past, present and future.

Can trust be grown like a crop?

Farmer-founded and employee-owned, Tractor Beverage Company believes a better food system starts with the healthy soil —and the people who care for it. To live into that belief, Tractor created the Farmhand Foundation.

At Farmhand, like true farm hands, we take on the behind-the-scenes work others often avoid—reading the fine print, writing grants, restoring soil health, chasing certifications, and opening new markets—so farmers can stay focused on farming.

Tractor proudly contributes a portion of its revenue through 1% for the Planet to support Farmhand Foundation. Together, we’re working to make regenerative the rule, not the exception, and to build a food system designed to last for the next seven generations.

Supporting Farmhand means investing in regenerative agriculture that honors people and place—planting seeds for the next seven generations.
