From Organic Drinks to Organic Farming
We’re rolling up our sleeves for a healthier and more sustainable tomorrow.
OUR HISTORY
A few years ago, we launched Tractor Beverage Company, an organic brand rooted in sustainable farming. As we grew, so did our commitment to a cleaner planet. We are proud to be the original organic beverage company in food service, giving more people a healthier choice at their favorite restaurants or venues. Tractor also pioneered the Organic Impact Tracker, allowing us to measure the impact of sourcing from organic farmers.
To further our commitment, we founded The Farmhand Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to helping growers transition to organic farming. We've faced challenges across the food system, from soil health to retail—further empowering us to help organic growers everywhere navigate these obstacles. Together we can cultivate a future where organic farming is not just a niche, but the norm.
OUR MODEL
Farmhand focuses on three key areas in our partnerships.
KNOWLEDGE AND ASSURANCE
We will offer comprehensive assistance to growers through partnerships providing financial aid, technical support and mentorship to help them transition to and prosper in organic farming.
RESOURCES AND SUPPORT
We will actively engage consumers with dynamic marketing and advocacy campaigns, aiming to build coalitions for organic farming through strategic partnerships.
MARKET AND SUPPLY CHAIN
With Tractor Beverage Co as a partner, we strive to create transparent, direct sourcing relationships—enhancing efficiency and sustainability in the supply chain, as well as mitigating risk for growers.
Starting Locally, Thinking Globally
Beginning in our backyard in Ojai, CA, Farmhand will work with local citrus, stone fruit and berry growers to pilot our organic transition program while bringing market-based solutions. This regional approach strengthens our products and the local agricultural community, creating a replicable model for scaling sustainable agriculture. We aim to support producers of all shapes and sizes, building resilient and sustainable farming practices from our backyard to agricultural operations everywhere.
